Fire Rated

Fire Protection for you, your family and your home is extremely important. SHEETROCK Brand Gypsum Panels – FIRECODE and FIRECODE C Core are factory-fabricated, composed of a fireresistant gypsum core encased in heavy natural-finish paper on the face side and strong liner paper on the back side. Both the face and back papers are manufactured with 100% recycled paper. Made in 12.7 mm (1/2″) and 15.9 mm (5/8″) thicknesses, SHEETROCK Brand Gypsum Panels – FIRECODE and FIRECODE C Core offer a specially formulated gypsum mineral core that provides fire resistance superior to that offered by regular gypsum panels. Systems using SHEETROCK Brand Gypsum Panels have qualified for fire ratings up to 4 hours in walls, 3 hours in ceilings, and 4 hours on columns, giving you added peace of mind.

BATTS
Batts of Insulation are pre-cut sections of fibreglass or rock wool insulation created for easy use between framing such as studs and joists. Primary areas for use are walls, attics, floors & ceilings.

BLOWN-IN
Blown-In Insulation is made of either fiberglass or recycled products. It is blown or sprayed into place with a machine and is ideal for hard to reach areas such as attics. It can also be used to top up existing insulation or fill wall cavities. Blown-In Insulation is easy to do yourself! Simcoe offers the Atticat Insulation Machine for rent or for free! FOAM BOARD
Foam Board or Rigid Panel Insulation can be used to insulate interior or exterior walls from your foundation to your attic. Polystyrene and Polyurethane are the most common materials used in making the foam boards. Foam Board Insulation is lightweight, durable and impact-resistant making it easy to handle, saw, cut and score.

SPRAY FOAM
Spray Foam is ideal to fill gaps, cracks, sealing around doors, windows and vents. It is primarily made of Latex or Polyurethane and sets quickly. You can trim, paint or stain different types of Spray Foam. Special Equipment is required to apply Spray Foam in larger areas.
